  • One and a half cups of powdered milk.
  • 1 teaspoon of instant yeast.
  • A teaspoon of baking powder.
  • pinch of salt.
  • Pinch of sugar.
  • A quarter of a cup of oil.
  • A glass of water.
  • A quantity of natural honey for decoration.
  • 1 teaspoon of melted ghee, for garnish.

How to prepare

  1. Mix the dry ingredients Mix the flour, powdered milk, yeast, salt, sugar, baking powder and oil well.
  2. Add water Gradually add water to the mixture, mixing well after each addition.
  3. Qatayef settlement Heat the saj over a low heat after greasing it with a little butter, then pour two tablespoons of the mixture onto the saj, and leave it a little until it becomes soft and red, taking into account turning it on both sides, and repeat this process until the amount of the mixture runs out.
  4. Serve the Qatayef with ghee and honey Shape the katayef dough into the shape of a crust, then arrange it on a serving plate, and decorate it with honey and ghee.
