Ingredients 

Swiss roll with toffee sauce

  • a cup of flour.
  • ½ cup sugar.
  • 4 eggs.
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla.
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder.
  • a cup of toffee sauce.
  • Whipped cream for decoration.

Preparation method 

  1. Preheat the oven ,Preheat the oven to 180°C for five minutes.
  2. Prepare the egg and sugar mixture ,In a large bowl, put the eggs and sugar and beat them with an electric mixer for 4 to 5 minutes until you get a creamy and light-colored texture.
  3. Add flour, vanilla and baking powder ,Add the vanilla, flour and baking powder to them and mix well until the ingredients are well combined.
  4. Settling the Swissroll ,Take a rectangular tray covered with parchment paper, pour the dough into it and put it in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
  5. Swissroll formation ,Remove the tray from the oven and let it cool down a bit, then wrap the swiss roll in a clean towel like a cylinder and leave it aside for 30 minutes until it forms.
  6. Swissroll stuffing ,Roll out the Swiss roll cake, then spread the toffee sauce in it and roll it like a cylinder again, then spread the cream on the outside of the Swiss roll, then spread the toffee sauce like lines on the cream.
  7. Cooling the Swissrool ,Place the swissroll in the refrigerator for at least two hours before serving.
  8. Serve swissroll with toffee sauce ,Put the Swiss roll on a serving plate, cut it into slices, then serve it with hot drinks and juices for your family health and wellness.
